The 2026 Audi A6 e-tron
The new electric avant garde.

Interior design and MMI panoramic display

The interior is built around the user, combining a high-contrast, three-dimensional layout with ergonomics. The MMI panoramic display - 11.9" Audi virtual cockpit, 14.5" MMI touch display, and optional 10.9" passenger display - forms a clear digital stage. Active privacy mode lets the passenger enjoy movies or streaming without distracting the driver.

An optional AR head-up display projects speed, navigation, and assistance information across the windshield. The "Softwrap" dashboard, soft-touch surfaces, and gloss-black control areas blend comfort with precision. Slim air vents and optional virtual exterior mirror displays integrate seamlessly into the driver's line of sight. Essential functions - mirrors, lighting, and locks - are grouped in the driver's door, while a dynamic interaction light visually ties the cockpit together. Optional three-zone climate control adds extra comfort.

Practicality is strong, with over five liters of storage in the center console, 502 liters in the trunk, a 27-liter frunk, and a towing capacity of 2,100 kilograms.

Integrating customers' digital world: the infotainment system

Running on Android Automotive OS, the A6 e-tron stays up to date with over-the-air updates. Standard Audi connect services and the enhanced e-tron route planner keep navigation and features current.

The Audi Application Store offers apps for music, video, gaming, navigation, parking, productivity, weather, and news - no smartphone required.
The Audi assistant responds to natural voice commands, controlling vehicle functions, accessing online content, and connecting to ChatGPT via Microsoft Azure for seamless information and interaction.

The Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System delivers 830 watts through 20 speakers, including front headrest speakers for personal surround sound, with additional A-pillar and midrange speakers creating an immersive 3D audio experience. The dynamic interaction light enhances communication with occupants while staging the interior in a wide range of colors.

The exterior: elegant and progressive

The Audi A6 e-tron's clean body design combines dynamism, elegance, and progressivity. Ultra-slim daytime running lights and a wide grille give it a low, wide stance, while a black mask integrates headlights, sensors, and air intakes seamlessly. Sculptural quattro blister contours emphasize the quattro drive system, and a black inlay along the rocker panel highlights the battery, giving the side profile a slim, dynamic look.

The rear combines sporty elegance and power with a continuous 3D light strip, distinctive spoiler edge, and bold diffuser. Dimensions - length 4,928 mm, width 1,923 mm, height 1,487 mm, wheelbase 2,946 mm - offer space, comfort, and everyday usability. Wheels range from 19-inch aero designs to optional 21-inch Audi Sport wheels. Up to eight exterior colors are available, with exclusive finishes for S line and S models.

Innovative lighting technology

Audi reinforces its leadership in light design with three-dimensional headlights and second-generation digital OLED rear lights. Each rear panel has around 45 segments for car-to-X communication and enhanced safety. Active digital light signatures at the front and rear create vibrant, intelligent lighting, while communication lights can warn other road users of accidents or breakdowns.

Up to eight digital light signatures allow personalization, and optional illuminated four rings at the rear emphasize Audi identity and give the A6 e-tron a distinctive character.

Outstanding aerodynamics

The A6 e-tron continues Audi's aerodynamic legacy with a record-low Cd value of 0.21 for the Sportback, making it the most aerodynamic Audi ever. Optimized airflow begins at the front with air curtains, a slim greenhouse, and a controllable cool-air intake under the Singleframe. The underbody, rear diffuser, and aero-optimized wheels further reduce drag. Optional virtual exterior mirrors use compact, streamlined cameras to improve efficiency.

Smart panoramic glass roof with transparency control

The optional panoramic glass roof uses PDLC technology to switch from transparent to opaque at the touch of a button, reducing direct sunlight and creating a "digital curtain." Four preset settings let occupants personalize comfort and light.
